On September 5th, 2024, the Regional Institute for Population Studies (RIPS) at the University of Ghana welcomed Mrs.
Prof. Ayaga Agula Bawah
Ayaga A. Bawah is a Professor of Demography and Population Health at the Regional Institute for Population Studies (RIPS), University of Ghana, and a Research Affiliate of the Population Studies Center, University of Pennsylvania. He is a former Director of RIPS. He has expertise in population and health research in Africa, particularly in research methodology, longitudinal data analysis and modeling of demographic processes, and evaluation of health interventions including maternal and child health.
