The Regional Institute for Population Studies (RIPS), in collaboration with the School of Public Health, is set to host a groundbreaking short course on Implementation Science, offering a unique opportunity for professionals, researchers, and policymakers to bridge the gap between research and real-world application.
In today’s rapidly evolving health landscape, the challenge lies not just in generating research but in ensuring that evidence-based interventions are effectively translated into policies and practice. This course, developed under the Sustaining the African Health Initiative Community of Practice (AHI CoP) project, is designed to equip participants with practical tools for integrating research into decision-making processes.
From March 17th to 21st, 2025, participants will engage in dynamic learning sessions at RIPS, featuring:
✅ Lectures led by leading experts in implementation science
✅ Hands-on practical sessions to develop actionable implementation plans
✅ Engagements with policymakers and practitioners to understand real-world applications
✅ Field trips to the Ministry of Health, providing firsthand exposure to policy environments
By the end of this immersive experience, attendees will not only enhance their technical skills but also build networks that drive meaningful change in health systems.
