Janet Awopole Yepakeh Tiah is a public health research, monitoring, and evaluation specialist with over a decade of experience in the design, implementation, and evaluation of development program interventions in Ghana. She has led and contributed to numerous qualitative and quantitative research projects, particularly in the area of health systems strengthening, infectious diseases, maternal and child health, community development and livelihoods. She has worked extensively with government agencies, international donors, and non-governmental organizations to strengthen health systems, improve program performance, and promote evidence-based decision-making. Janet’s research interests include program evaluation, maternal health, and improving health systems performance. Her work has been published in several widely read peer-reviewed journals, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based approaches in public health. She holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Ghana and a bachelor’s degree from the University for Development Studies. She currently works as the program coordinator of the Sustaining the African Health Initiative Community of Practice.
