IMPORTANT NOTICE
The Regional Institute for Population Studies (RIPS) will hold an orientation programme for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Monday, 12 January 2026 at 2:00 PM.
Programme Outline
1. Opening Welcome - Address by the Director, setting the tone and purpose of the gathering.
2. Faculty Introductions - Presentation of faculty members to the students
3. Graduate Studies Address - Remarks from representative of Graduate Studies, offering guidance and inspiration.
4. Graduate Coordinator’s Speech - Message from the Graduate Coordinator, focusing on academic expectations and student support.
5. Presentation by rep of the Research and Innovation Directorate on the Research Professional Platform
6. Optional Faculty Reflections - Opportunity for faculty members to share brief remarks.
7. Student Engagement - Question-and-answer session
8. Closing - Formal conclusion of the program, with words of encouragement and gratitude.
